Through worship we seek to “ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name” (1 Chronicles 16:29). Our worship focuses on biblical teaching, fellowship, prayer, and singing. We have Communion on the first Sunday of the month. All who are present in worship are welcome at the Lord’s table, regardless of church status. Our music is a mix of hymns and choruses, along with a variety of styles of special music. Dress is come as you are comfortable. Hearing assistance devices are available every Sunday. If you have questions about our worship, please contact us at 785-272-3676 or email@example.com
The Psalms have long been beloved and cherished by people of faith. The Psalms are beloved in part because they reflect the ups and downs, the good and bad, the joys and sorrows of living that each of us can identify with at least to some degree. The Psalms are cherished in part because they powerfully express an experience of God in the midst of those ups and downs, joy and sorrows of life.
Each Sunday for the next couple months, we will focus on a Psalm. Our prayer is that we will connect with the Psalm's expression of life's experiences and God encounters. For when we embrace the Psalms we encounter God in the midst of life, experience the wonderfulness of God's character of never ending love for us.
