Crestview United Methodist Church Staff

The staff at Crestview UMC believes in Crestview's mission of "building disciples for Christ by making God's love real to others."  Our hope as staff is to equip those in the community to fully live into this reality.

Rev. Kevin Rea

Rev. Kevin Rea, pronounced "Ray," was born and raised in Butler, Pennsylvania.  He received a degree in elementary education from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. After teaching for a couple year, Kevin attended METHESCO in Delaware, Ohio to complete his Master of Divinity degree. He spent the first 23 years in various ministries in Western Pennsylvania and the last eight years ministering in Kansas. Kevin has three semi-grown children, ages 27, 22, and 19. Kevin is an advocate for mental health and for overall health. He works out daily to maintain and improve his overall health. Kevin loves sports and roots for the Chiefs, Royals, KU, and K-State. However, he will always bleed the black and gold of the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins.
